We work where it matters most.

Think About It Group is an award-nominated, theatre-based education company delivering powerful, real-life conversations through live performance.

We specialise in creating transformational sessions across elite sport, government, corporate, education, and justice sectors — tackling critical issues like mental health, respect, leadership, ethical bystanding, coercive control, unconscious bias, and cultural change.

Our unique model blends professional actors, real-world scenarios, and facilitated discussion to create something that feels less like a training session and more like a shared experience — honest, funny, emotional, and deeply human.

We don’t lecture. We don’t patronise. We start conversations that last.

We’ve proudly worked with:

  • We’ve worked with every club in the AFL, AFLW, NRL, and NRLW — and across nearly every elite sporting code in the country.

That includes the ACSEP (Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians), Athletics Australia, Cricket Australia, Hockeyroos, Kookaburras, NBL, Rowing Australia, Rugby Sevens, Rugby Union (Wallabies), Swimming Australia, Soccer, Tennis Australia, and the Wallaroos.

  • Top-tier corporates like PWC, NAB, Sydney Airport, SHINE LAWYERS and EML Insurance,

  • Key government agencies such as NSW Police, NSW Corrections, NSW Health, CERTIS Security, SIA (sports integrity Australia) and the Australian Border Force

  • Internationally, we’ve taken our work to English Premier League and English Rugby

  • Whether we’re in a locker room, a boardroom, a courtroom or a classroom — our mission is always the same:

To get people thinking, feeling, reflecting and acting differently… promoting progress not perfection

This is education that sticks. This is what we do.

A Glimpse Into Our Work

We rarely film our sessions — and that’s by design. Our focus is on creating organic, in-the-moment conversations that are raw, honest, and deeply engaging. Because of that, there’s limited footage of what we do in action. That said, here are two videos we created in collaboration with Fox Sports.

They offer a quick snapshot of how we use theatre to spark real change across sporting and corporate environments.

What we offer

Workshops with a difference

🔍 What We Offer

Workshops that spark real change

We create dynamic, theatre-based workshops that tackle social, moral, and interpersonal issues head-on — with energy, humour, and emotional impact. Co-founders Andy and Damien use a unique, interactive approach where audience volunteers take part in live, unscripted theatre sports–style scenes. These scenes are raw, authentic, and grounded in real-world experience — shifting from funny to confronting as they reflect the complexities of modern behaviour and relationships.Every session is tailored to the group — whether we’re working with students, athletes, or professionals — and no two workshops are ever the same.

We work on the principle of promoting progress, not perfection, and our goal isn’t to shame or lecture — it’s to create a safe space where people can reflect, respond, and grow. After each scene, we facilitate conversations that focus on what we can control: our choices, our behaviours, and how we respond when things don’t feel right. It’s about building the confidence to act with integrity, speak up when needed, and engage in hard conversations in a respectful and meaningful way. These are workshops that move people. They stay with you. And they drive real cultural change.

Ready to shift the culture in your school, club, or organisation? Let’s talk.

Our Sessions

Our sessions are unique because we cater specifically to the needs of your group. We will work with you to understand the issues that are significant in your workplace, team or school. We will then create an engaging performance to start important conversations and kick off the process of changing behaviours.

Our original, interactive performances involve volunteers from the audience in a theatre sports style show. The scenes can veer from light and humorous to serious and challenging, depending on the approach you think will suit your group.

💼 Corporate Workshops

Leading the Conversation on Workplace Culture

We are grateful for the opportunity to perform “think about it” for PWC , we explored and spoke about issues surrounding intersectionality and the LGBTIQ+ community in the workplace. Our aim was to get people thinking about what they can change in their own behaviours and broader strategies.

In today’s evolving corporate landscape, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace culture isn’t just a value—it’s a legal imperative. With the introduction of the Respect at Work Act in March 2024, Australian employers are now legally required to take proactive measures to prevent workplace harassment and discrimination.

EML’s willingness to take chances on new approaches in areas like communication, respect for self and others, empathy, understanding, relatability, fostering functional relationships and leadership has been inspiring…. Truly

At THiNK ABOUT iT, we are at the forefront of this cultural shift. Our theatre-based workshops are designed to engage teams in meaningful dialogues about respect, leadership, and ethical decision-making. Through interactive performances and facilitated discussions, we help organizations navigate complex issues, promoting progress over perfection.

Our sessions are tailored to reflect the unique challenges of each organization, ensuring relevance and impact. By focusing on actionable strategies and fostering open communication, we empower employees to contribute to a positive and compliant workplace environment.

Join the ranks of forward-thinking companies who are not only meeting legal standards but are also cultivating workplaces where respect and integrity thrive.

🎓 Schools

Real conversations for real outcomes in student wellbeing

Our school workshops are designed to support pastoral care, student wellbeing, and leadership development across Years 9–12. We work in partnership with schools to deliver age-appropriate, evidence-informed theatre-based sessions that tackle the issues young people are navigating every day — including peer dynamics, mental health, respectful relationships, consent, digital behaviour, and student responsibility.

Each program uses unscripted performance, student volunteers, and open discussion to explore real-life scenarios in a way that’s engaging, relatable, and emotionally safe. No two sessions are the same — every delivery is tailored to your cohort, your context, and the specific challenges your students are facing.

Whether it’s part of a Year 9 wellbeing day, a Year 10 resilience program, or a Year 12 leadership initiative, our sessions help students build:

  • Confidence and ethical reasoning

  • Awareness around social media use, content sharing, and digital consequences

  • Skills in bystanding, boundary-setting, and respectful communication

  • The capacity to reflect on values, behaviour, and the kind of culture they want to create

We don’t lecture. We facilitate conversations that matter — helping schools build stronger cultures, healthier peer relationships, and better decision-making across the student body.

Sporting teams

Andy and Damien began this business running sessions for sporting teams, specifically the NRL. They have gone on to conduct sessions for various clients such as the Sydney Swans (AFL) and Western Sydney Wanderers (A League). They use their years of experience and expertise, to create a safe, fun, entertaining and inviting space for participates to explore and address issues, specified in earlier briefings. Damien and Andy consult with clients prior to the day to create a sessions that addresses the issues specific to their workplace. Issues they have tackled include depression, alcohol awareness, sexism, dealing with pressure, gambling, domestic violence and navigating appropriate behaviours in public. Andy and Damien use volunteers from the audience in a theatre sports style show, directly addressing themes and issues considered pressing the client’s workplace. The scenes can veer from light and humorous to incredibly confronting depending on the client’s directives.

Testimonials

Their show is such a unique combination of humour, rapport and genuineness which leaves the audience understanding the gravity of the messaged empowered to take positive action.
— Laila Burazerovic, Department of Transport NSW
[This] is one of the most engaging and highly effective workshops that I have seen delivered across the NRL. It challenges participants to consider their own values and beliefs... The performers are adept at drawing out genuine responses from those in the scenes, as well as those watching ... I believe theatre sports would be of great benefit to any organisation.
— Dene Halatau, NRL Welfare Department
I highly recommend the programme. It was a fun, lighthearted way to get us engaged and discussing some serious issues that may at other times be difficult to talk about in a team environment including drugs and depression. I really enjoyed it.
— Ethan Lowe, North Queensland Cowboys
Andy and Damien were both a pleasure to work with - engaging, interested, communicative and professional... they were authentic in engaging the students to think about what it means to be respectful and responsible... I could not recommend them highly enough
— Dave Merrick, Head Teacher, Welfare Turramurra High School
This is a highly engaging and confronting workshop designed for players and staff covering societal issues like substance abuse, gambling, domestic violence, LGBTI awareness and drink driving. Their workshop had our audience in hysterics of laughter, on the edge of tears, and every emotion in between. It is inspirational to see the NRL driving change within their game in such a progressive and engaging way, and seeing the engagement within our audience, inclusive of Agency and Diageo Exec members, left me feeling extremely proud to say that Bundaberg Rum is a partner of the NRL.
— Karl Roche, Diageo
The presentation was a fantastic way to reinforce some key messages which a powerpoint will never bring to life. The team was so easy to work with, open to ideas and went about their business as true professionals. The realism of the scenes were crafted to suit the audience and the interactive nature of it was invaluable. While hilarious and ever engaging, everyone walked away with a new level of understanding of some important issues relevant to the sport. I would highly recommend THiNK ABOUT iT to any industry, this team is amazing at what they can do.
— Peter Peterson, Tennis Australia
ASADA uses theatre sports to teach athletes about topics like the risk of supplements, the consequences of doping, the implications of illicit drugs and reasons to report doping.

Each scene puts athletes in scenarios that challenge their thinking and stimulate their learning, in a comedic, fun and supportive environment. It enables them to explore how they make decisions in ethically grey scenarios, and teaches them the consequences of their decisions.

Importantly, it lets athletes ‘live’ real life situations they might face in their careers, without the threat of being sanctioned for making the wrong decision. In our tool-kit of anti-doping education options, this experience is invaluable.

Andy, Damien and their team are experts when it comes to breaking down barriers, tailoring scenarios, making people laugh, and building positive learning environments. We strongly recommend them for anyone looking to make their education program engaging, fun and high-impact.
— Alexis Cooper, ASADA
We engaged Damien and Andy after hearing of the great work they do in the NRL to educate players. Think About iT attended our New Player Induction Camp and Delegates Conference to introduce and discuss some confronting and sensitive topics in the athlete wellbeing space. The session was such a fantastic alternative to a standard powerpoint presentation that had been done in the past. The whole energy of the group was shifted, players were engaged, challenged in their thinking, and left the session much more aware of how they may make decisions around their actions in the future
— Justine Whipper, Cricket Australia
